Plot:
In the late middle ages, a castle was forged by hundreds of thousands of slaves, owned by the ruler of a warrior sect in the mountains of Bulgaria. This warrior king called this castle Boendrugar [bone-JROO-garr], meaning “a fallen comrade”. The king was obsessed with eternal life, for his kingdom was the most powerful sect in all the Balkan region. Therefore, he practiced alchemy in the underground dungeons of his mighty stone fortress. He concocted various potions and stews, all containing mystical properties, but none gave the king the immortality he wished for. He tossed his failed formulas into the soil surrounding the castle, the only things on his mind the misery of his impending old age, and the reaper who followed close behind. However, this mythical waste product was not completely harmless to the ecosystem. Plants and animals which ingested the potions mutated into abnormal beings- in some cases, ungodly. The formulas not only created mystic beings, but attracted them from elsewhere as well, until Boendrugar became some sort of a safe haven for mythical beasts and beings. This went on for long after the king died [he never did create his immortality serum], through an entire millennium, until the current year, 2008.

Boendrugar is now a boarding school, with a population of humans, weres, vampires, shape-shifters, and other beings to whom going to school in a Balkan mountain range is appealing. A herd of horses, whose ancestors thrived on their very territory since the days of the warrior king, also inhabits the Boendrugar grounds. This race of horses, after consuming the king’s concoctions, retains the ability to shape-shift into human form when they reach puberty. In their equine form, these equines are the guardians of Boendrugar and its surrounding terrains. Some actually attend school in the castle in their human forms. But whomever [and whatever] you are, Boendrugar is no ordinary castle in the mountains. Beware! Some of the equine feel they are being cheated and refuse to live as gaurdian, but to kill all who oppose them.

General Laws



  • Here in Blue Water Island, there is no sexual language abuse [sex talk]
  • Proboards state that you must be 13 years of age at LEAST, so I hate it for you if you aren't. Breaking this law will be exile to you as soon as I am informed of it.
  • This is strictly a HUMAN/HORSE role play site; no predators, birds[unless symbolized Island bird], squirrels, or creatures such as that will be permitted. If you feel the need that your horse must absolutely have a ''friend'' that stays with him/her at all times, you must pm an admin for permission or create a Hawk to accompany your character.
  • No talking in any size, shape, or form of racism, religious cults, or any other thing such as that. However, words are no longer censored, so mild swearing is allowed, but only in character. I don't want you all cursing each other out by just playing, or over something stupid like;"OMG! You fricker! You killed my frickin horse!'', but the real words! That is stupid and I don't want to find any of this on BWL!
  • You may have as many characters as you want as long as you are able to keep them all active and I better not find any power playing. That is where you say something like"Billy Bob shanked Joe and Joe died.'' I don't want any of that!




Human Joining Rules



  • Graphic sex is allowed, but if you are expecting it to be in your thread, please but a ((G)) somewhere in the title of your thread.
  • Humans are allowd to have up to 5 horses at their home, unless its a boarding center.
  • If you want to have your own house on Branch Ave., please PM me and give me any information that you want to be shown on your own board. ((Your charrie cannot own more than 30 acres if its a normal home, up to 50 acres if they own a boarding center on their property.))




Horse Joining Laws




  • Zebras, donkeys, and drafts are allowed and may be bred to create cross-breeds
  • When your mare has a foal, go and create them just like you did with all your other charries and add both of its parents' stats below. You can choose everything you want your foal to look like, but an admin will have to look it over to see if it could be accepted or not. Foals are not garunteed life! If your offspring is born with a deformity or disability [directed by staff or by absolute request], then you cannot change their ''curse'' of mothernature. The Staff does not play favorites and go all like; ''Oh lookie there! I think that John & Sally's offspring should be a siamese twin because my throat hurts!'' Nothing like that will happen...Side affects are randomly chosen.
  • Alliances are either Angelic[lights], Possesed[darks], or Desolate[loners]. NOTE: you may be nuetral if your character is labeled as bi-polar!





Horse Breeding Laws



  • All equine must be at least two years of age to breed
  • If you want to graphic breed, please put a (G) in the title or [preferrably] do it over a pm.
  • If mares are alone and wandering around, you may be force bred, never know, there's alotta creeps out there
  • Stallions may force breed mares and try to take them to there land, but the mare may run




Horse Fighting Laws



  • You may fight over many things; lands, mares, freedom, lead, higher rank, etc.
  • Mares may fights stallions, but stallions will probably have the advantage
  • Mares may try to fight her lead or slave to get freedom and run away
  • Foals can't fight, unless their playing with one another
  • You can only rule up to 1 land, its not fair to have any more than that
  • You must get Admin permission to fight for High Royalty such as-Main Kings and Queens




Mares' Laws



  • May fight against other mares to gain a higher rank
  • Can adopt foals
  • May abandon her foal(s), but that wouldn't be nice :'(
  • Can also fight stallions, but has a disadvantage
  • Can run away from her her land if the lead stallion doesn't fight her to stay
  • Can't claim a land
  • May call upon revenge and kill for it




Stallions' Laws



  • May fight mares, and has the advantage
  • Can adopt foals so long as they are weaned[off mother's milk]
  • Can claim lands
  • Can force breed mares
  • Can keep slaves
  • May fight other stallions for higher ranks, mares, revenge, etc.
  • Can kill his heir if both parents and player of charrie all agree



Foals' Laws



  • Can run away from their dam
  • Can wander around lands they don't belong to
  • Can't adopt other foals, duh
  • Can't breed with other foals, but may have young loves :-*
  • Can't claim lands, dur!
  • May choose favorites between parents
